Rebecca Rosenberg, CBID Alum, featured in Times Square!

October 12, 2025

Here’s a CBID spotlight for you all from Times Square! ReBokeh is an app developed by one of our CBID alumni and Abell fellows, Rebecca Rosenberg!

ReBokeh is an app designed for users that struggle with moderate low vision, and uses your phone’s camera to provide a live feed of the world, allowing you to apply custom adjustments to your specific needs. Rebecca was inspired to create ReBokeh due to her personal experiences with albinism and understanding of the inadequacies permeating existing technologies of aide. Her efforts are not only noticed by patients and users, her network at CBID, but now for Times Square to see! We are so proud of her, and all of our fellow accomplished CBID alumni.

Stories like hers and many others who have completed the one-year-masters program at CBID hopefully can inspire our current class to keep up the hard work, but encourage you to consider what CBID could do for you- or what you could do for the world of healthcare through CBID. We are currently in the process of accepting applications for the Class of 2027. Before you do this, we highly recommend attending an upcoming CBID information session virtually.
