Congratulations to the 2020 Healthcare Design Competition winners

April 20, 2020

The Johns Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design (CBID) is pleased to announce the results of the 2020 COVID-19 Design Challenge. This event, which ran from March 26th to March 30th, was organized by a committee of CBID graduate students led by Noah Yang and Shayan Roychoudhury, and included over 30 other active members.

Throughout our event, over 1200 participants on 235 teams from 25 different countries contributed to developing innovative and actionable solutions to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We would like to thank all these teams, our partners from Boston University, Stanford University, and University of California, San Francisco, our experts, and our innovation mentors for their participation and commitment over the course of this event. These efforts culminated in over 195 proposals submitted for further consideration.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2020 Johns Hopkins Healthcare Design Competition!
