Design Project Repository

cbid_projects_4Each year teams of BME students are presented with a pool of medtech and global health projects that constitute a clinical problem in need of a solution. Each team has the freedom to select a project best suited for them.

Four CBID graduate student teams take on the task of finding a commercially-viable biomedical solution to their chosen problem.

The students work closely in their team, where a spirit of teamwork, innovation and inventiveness is encouraged. The teams explore concepts, perform laboratory experiments, develop prototypes, and rigorously test their solutions.

Students exit the program with an entrepreneurial spirit, an appreciation for the value of teamwork, a love of biomedical engineering, and improved interpersonal and communication skills.
