MiraHeart Wins $25,000 @ Rice Business Plan Competition
Current CBID team MiraHeart, wins $25,000 at the Rice Business Plan Competition by winning the Pediatric Device Prize by the Southwest National Pediatric Device Innovation Consortium (SWPDC). This award was given in partnership with the Southwest National Pediatric Device Innovation Consortium (SWPDC.org) at Texas Children’s Hospital / Baylor College of Medicine to support the advancement and commercialization of novel pediatric medical devices.
The Rice Business Plan Competition is the world’s largest and richest intercollegiate student startup competition. Student founders learn what is required to successfully launch a new business in addition to receiving mentorship from investors and experienced entrepreneurs. Student team’s receive personalized and professional feedback before, during, and after the competition.
