CurveAssure and Somnair Advance to the Final Round of Rice Business Plan Competition

CurveAssure and Somnair were the two teams from Johns Hopkins University that advanced to the final round of the 2024 Rice Business Plan Competition. CurveAssure, lead by Evan Hass, was a project that originated from the CBID Master’s Program. Evan and his teammates continued working on the project through their 2023 Abell Fellowship. Somnair, by Anders Sideris, Mitch Turley, and Shri Shivram, is another project that originated from the CBID Mater’s Program. The three are all current 2024 Abell Fellows and have continued working on this project. They have completed animal testing in Australia and have recently begun human testing at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
