Dr. Acharya currently serves as the program director at CBID. His work is heavily tied in the global medical technology pillar of CBID. In this aspect of his work, he focuses on developing novel healthcare solutions for public health interventions occurring internationally. Many of the innovations he has played a role in, have now gained funding from USAID, and are preliminary field studies in both South Asia and East Africa.
