Sinu Stim wins at the Pava Marie LaPere Center for Entrepreneurship’s Spring 2025 Fuel Demo Day

July 16, 2025

April 22nd marked the Pava Marie LaPere Center for Entrepreneurship’s Spring 2025 Fuel Demo Day! During this event, 10 ventures pitch their ideas to a panel of informed judges with the chance to win significant funding!

CBID is proud to announce that ‘SinuStim’, one of our CBID student lead teams, was awarded the ‘Judges Prize’ award, winning a prize of $15,000 to be used towards their venture. SinuStim is a project originating from CBID, an original team photo is attached below! Oriol Cuxart and Sandhya Tiku are CBID students who have continued this project after completing the MSE program with CBID as Abell fellows.

SinuStim is a venture targeted towards patients currently suffering from Chronic Rhinosinusitis. SinuStim is a novel neuromodulation device, which reduces neural overstimulation which can open the nasal passageways for clear breathing. This unique approach to addressing patient suffering from Chronic Rhinosinusitis has gained incredible attention this past season!

We are so proud to highlight their accomplishment at Demo Day, and excited to see what is next for SinuStim with this recent win behind them!
