Class of 2026 Global Health Travels

This year at CBID, we currently have FOUR teams of innovators traveling the globe with the goals of improving unmet needs in healthcare, through advanced data collection and observation of what exactly the problem is they are solving. We believe there is no way better to understand the ‘needs’ of your design, than to enter the place in which it will be incorporated to.

While at CBID, all teams have personal blog-style instagram accounts that are tagged with each description of their work.

Our Urology and VectorCatch team has recently been traveling to Uganda at Makerere University, and Colombia at the Universidad de Antioquia. Follow their personal instagram for more, and see below!

Our Emergency Medicine and Breast Cancer team has traveled to Uganda. They have stopped in many cities along the way, in their study of the feasibility to produce & distribute their healthcare solution in Uganda. Follow their personal instagram for more, and see below!

Our OBGYN and Vector Control team has recently traveled to many cities in Colombia like Medellin, and Antioquia, collecting many mosquito species, and gaining insightful field experiences. Follow their personal instagram and see below for more!

Our TB and Pulmonary team has recently traveled to the Serum Institute of India, Pune, and Delhi, to learn more about the innovations that have been accessed to detect latent tuberculosis. Follow their personal instagram and see below for more!
