The Johns Hopkins Healthcare Design Competition is held annually and is open to all student-led teams from around the world that have designed health-related solutions. These include medical devices, surgical tools, diagnostic devices, drug delivery services, health IT solutions, mHealth solutions, and global health innovations. Student teams can choose from 3 tracks: solutions for advanced health systems, global health/humanitarian design, healthcare apps/information technology design. Awards for each track: 1st place – $5,000 and 2nd place – $2,500.
